Ford Maverick Performance
There are two engine options to choose from for the Ford Maverick, both focusing on fuel economy and power.
The standard engine is a 2.5L full-hybrid 4-cylinder that achieves an EPA-estimated 40 city MPG, as well as:
- 191 horsepower
- 155 lb-ft of torque
The other option is an available 2.0L EcoBoost®, which offers more power with a total of 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque.
You can also enjoy the option of standard front-wheel drive or available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The latter is great for rugged terrain or when the weather is bad.
Ford Maverick Interior
The Maverick seats five, so you can take the whole group out on a fun camping weekend or head out yourself to get some work done. There is plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable, too-taller passengers won't feel squished in the back.
To help you store things that you might not want left out on the seats, the vehicle comes standard with rear-seat storage. Just put your valuables under the rear seats and worry less about what's in your automobile. The rear seats also have a cushion design that prevents phones from sliding underneath.
Additionally, the Maverick comes with plenty of tech to help make your drives more enjoyable. It starts out with a standard 8-inch touchscreen that acts as the truck's infotainment system.

Ford Maverick Trim Levels
The Maverick offers four trim levels right out of the gate.
The base trim is the Maverick XL. It includes the aforementioned full-hybrid engine, so you get the best fuel economy you can get. You'll also get the standard infotainment system with the features we talked about above.
The next trim level is the Maverick XLT. This one adds additional storage cubbies in the truck bed and 10 tie-down spots so that you can secure your cargo.
One of the highest trim levels available is the Maverick Lariat. This trim offers some additional stylistic options with premium grain Desert Brown ActiveXâ„¢ seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The last trim level available is the Maverick Lariat First Edition. This top-of-the-line trim has:
- Black roof
- Power moonroof
- Lower-door graphics
- Gloss black mirror
The entire trim is made to be noticed with style and power. Plus, if you want to go off-road, you can opt for the available 17-inch aggressive all-terrain tires.
