2022 Ford Maverick Performance and Power
The Maverick is not only a fun truck to drive, but also one that gets good fuel economy. The standard engine in the Maverick is a 2.5L 4-cylinder full hybrid engine that gives:

- 155 lb-ft of torque
- EPA-estimated 40 city MPGÂ
With this excellent fuel economy, you can even go an EPA-estimated 500 miles of range on a single tank of gas.
There is a second engine option if you're looking for a little bit more power. The 2.0L EcoBoost® engine puts out 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. It has an 8-speed automatic transmission, as well as front-wheel drive. If you prefer the available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, that is also an option.
You'll even get plenty of towing capacity for a truck this size. The Maverick has a maximum towing capacity of 4,000 pounds when properly equipped. With this much towing capacity, you can tow a small powerboat, ATVs, or even a small camper.
2022 Ford Maverick Interior
The Maverick's interior is plenty spacious, so you and four passengers can stretch out on long drives. The Maverick is made for versatility inside and out, so you can customize it as you need to.
There are several options for storage, including large door pockets and even standard rear-seat storage. The rear seats lift, so you can store items underneath and out of sight. This is a great option for those who want to keep things from rolling around or for storing valuables. The rear cushions are designed to keep your phones from falling underneath the seats.
Some tech features are included in the Maverick right out of the gate, including an 8-inch infotainment system powered by available SYNC® 3. With this system, you'll get features like:

2022 Ford Maverick Safety and Driver-Assist Tech
To keep you safe while you're on the go, the Ford Maverick has a few standard and available safety and driver-assist features. Many of these features are part of the Ford Co-Pilot360â„¢ Technology suite. Some of the standard features are:

- Forward Collision Warning with Dynamic Brake Support
While these are great features, there are even more to add. One such feature is the available BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert. When you're on the highway and going to change lanes, this system lets you know if there is someone in your blind spot. You can also use it when backing out of a driveway or parking spot, and there is traffic behind you.
