What is a Ford Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle?

A Ford Certified Pre-Owned vehicle is a pre-owned Ford that's met the criteria set by Ford itself. These models are divided into two categories: Blue Certified and Gold Certified.

Blue Certified Ford vehicles must be under 10 model years old with fewer than 120,000 miles on the odometer. It also will have to pass a 139-point inspection.

Gold Certified vehicles have stricter criteria. These Fords are up to six model years old, fewer than 80,000 miles. The car must pass a rigorous 172-point inspection.
