Ford Blue Advantage is Ford's certified pre-owned vehicle program. Certified pre-owned vehicles must meet a specific set of criteria to earn a certification title. In general, CPO vehicles are often low-mileage and in excellent condition.
The Ford Blue Advantage program has two levels of Certification: Blue and Gold. If a pre-owned Ford model fits into one of these two certification levels, it earns that CPO title.
For a pre-owned Ford to earn the CPO title, it must meet either Blue or Gold Certification criteria.
To become a Blue Certified vehicle, a Ford vehicle must be under 10 model years old with less than 120,000 miles on the odometer. The Ford will also have to pass a rigorous 139-point inspection.
The Gold Certified has more strict guidelines. To earn a Gold Certification, a vehicle should be under six model years old with less than 80,000 miles. It must also pass a 172-point inspection.
Regardless of which certification a vehicle fits into, it will also have a CARFAX® Vehicle History Report. This reports let us know about any accident history, ownership history, and service history.
