Engine and Performance Specifications

You've got six engine choices for the Ford F-150. Each delivers its own horsepower and torque outputs. Fuel economy changes slightly, as well, with the hybrid being the most efficient.

Let's start with that hybrid, because it's the first time there has ever been one in the full-size truck segment. It's a 3.5L V6 hybrid that rates as the strongest engine in the lineup, making 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque, all while reaching an EPA-estimated 25 city/26 highway MPG.

The second closest engine in terms of raw power is the 3.5L V6 that reaches 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. It also gives you access to the F-150 truck's maximum towing capacity (14,000 pounds).

• 3.3L V6 making 290 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque
• 2.7L V6 making 325 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque

Selecting the Size of Your Truck

Three cab sizes can be had for the Ford F-150: Regular Cab, SuperCab, and SuperCrew®. The Regular Cab has a maximum and minimum seating capacity of three people. The SuperCab has a maximum seating capacity of six passengers and a minimum of five. Finally, the SuperCrew® can reach six passengers maximum, five passengers minimum.

From there, you can choose the following cargo box styles:

• 5.5-foot Styleside measuring 67.1 inches of inside length and 52.8 cubic feet of volume
• 6.5-foot Styleside measuring 78.9 inches of inside length and 62.3 cubic feet of cargo volume
