2020 Ford Edge Performance Specs
The Ford Edge continues to be a fun-to-drive SUV thanks to a few additions to the 2020 model. Whether bending around rural roads or darting through city streets, you'll always be smiling behind the wheel.
The standard motor is a 2.0L 4-cylinder which can pump out 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Along with the strong power outputs, the 2.0L is efficient, checking in with an EPA-estimated 21 city MPG/ 29 highway MPG.
If you feel like you want a little more giddy-up for merging onto highways or pulling away from stoplights, jump up to the 2.7L EcoBoost® V6. This twin-turbocharged motor is able to produce 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
You won't have to sacrifice efficiency either, as the V6 receives an EPA-estimated 19 city MPG/ 26 highway MPG.
Capable on any Surface, in any Weather
Performance is about more than delivering gobs of horsepower when you floor the pedal. You also want your SUV to be capable and assuring, something the Ford Edge has in spades.
First, the 8-speed automatic transmission will deftly move from gear to gear. Also, two drive types are available:
- Front-Wheel Drive
- Intelligent All-Wheel Drive

The Class III Trailer Tow Package is standard on the ST trim and available on the SEL and Titanium trims. If you choose to include it, your SUV will be able to tow 3,500 pounds while introducing features such as Trailer Sway Control.
