2019 Ford Mustang Specs
The Mustang offers an impressive display of power with its engine options. Last year's model had numerous engine options, but this year's release keeps it simpler with a base level turbocharged 4-cylinder and a V8 with different capabilities, depending on the selected trim.
- The base level 2.3L EcoBoost® produces 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.
- The 5.0L V8 produces 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque.
- The same 5.0L V8 produces 480 horsepower when equipped in the BULLITT trim.
- Each engine includes a 6-speed manual but with the option of swapping it out for a 10-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission.
Features & Technology
The 2019 Mustang includes the SYNC® system at the base level, but the option of upgrading to the larger SYNC® 3 system. This infotainment system provides access to the media options, which can be selected through voice commands. The Ford Mustang also comes standard with FordPass™. This feature is an app to download on your phone and connect with the vehicle. This app can:
- Lock, unlock, or start your vehicle remotely
- Pay for service
- Receive vehicle info and schedule service
- Find parking, reserve, and pay
Ford Mustang BULLITT
Drivers who have loved the Ford Mustang since the 1968 film will certainly be happy about the specific trim dedicated to this iconic film and the specific Mustang model featured in it. This trim offers the same shade of green as featured in the film and includes some special bells and whistles not featured with any other Ford Mustang trim. The interior includes the 12-inch LCD Digital Instrument Cluster with MyColor®, while the exterior includes Active Valve Performance Exhaust System with Quad Tips and Red Painted Brembo™ Brake Calipers.
