Ford F-150 Lightning Performance
Since the Ford F-150 Lightning is an electric truck, it runs on a battery and motors. No gas stops are needed. Charge at home or on the go at public charging stations.
The F-150 Lightning works with a standard-range battery that generates 426 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque. When fully charged, you'll get an EPA-estimated range of 230 miles.
The other battery is the available extended-range battery. This one delivers 563 horsepower, the same amount of torque as the standard-range battery, and a larger range on a full charge.
The F-150 Lightning has standard 4x4 capability and four drive modes to help you tackle whatever terrain you might come across. Those modes are:
- Normal
- Sport
- Tow/Haul
- Off-Road
Ford F-150 Lightning Interior
The interior of the F-150 Lightning cab is just as impressive as the rest of the truck. It seats five people with plentiful legroom:
- 43.9 inches in the front
- 43.6 inches in the back
Heated front seats are available for those chilly mornings, and you can enjoy available massage functionality on higher trim levels of the truck. Plus, available Max Recline Seats let you relax while you're on a break from a long drive.
An infotainment system with a 12-inch touchscreen is standard inside the F-150 Lightning. In-vehicle navigation means you'll never get lost, and the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capability let you use your favorite smartphone apps right on the touchscreen.
