Indicator Lights vs Warning Lights
Differentiating between indicator lights and warning lights is extremely important because they couldn't be more different, and you don't want to worry for no reason. Indicator lights are simple reminders and notifications. They activate when you turn a system on, or when a system comes on automatically.
Warning lights, however, are something to worry about. If these ominous lights come on, the important thing to remember is not to panic. AÂ system is malfunctioning, so you'll need to take precautions to prevent further damage to your vehicle.
Ford Fusion Indicator Lights
- Cruise Control:Â When you activate your cruise control system, this light will appear and remain on until you turn the system off.
- Front Airbag:Â This light generally appears when you start your vehicle. If it remains on, flashes, or doesn't come on at all, have the system checked at Richmond Ford West.
- High Beam:Â If you engage your high beams, this light will appear to remind you that they're on.
- Stability Control:Â If this light appears on the dashboard, it means that your vehicle experienced a slight loss of traction, and the system will help your wheels re-grip the road. If this light fails to turn on during ignition, or it doesn't turn off, have the system checked.
